Screening for Coronavirus during Patient Appointment Scheduling and Visits.
The spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) has all our attention. We wanted to let you know our practice is doing everything possible to keep our employees and you, our patients, safe while delivering the best patient care possible. We are monitoring and following all guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), including extra steps necessary to reduce the threat of COVID-19 exposure to patients and employees. This includes more aggressive and vigorous disinfection of patient areas as well as limiting exposure of high risk and well patients from those who are symptomatic.
While our office hours remain the same, we also offer telemedicine if you are not able to come in. Currently we are testing according to CDC guidelines, but this may change as testing capabilities become more available. We continue to pray for God’s protection, and for all those individuals and families who have been affected by the virus to date.
Please inform our staff of the following.
1)Symptoms of COVID-19? – fever, chills, SOB, CP, cold like symptoms, GI
symptoms, loss of taste or sense of smell in the last 2 weeks?
2)Exposure-have you been around anyone who is tested positive or results are
pending last month
3)Have you been tested for COVID-19, and when?
4)Have you been to the urgent care or ER the last 2 weeks?
